Turned Soldier
The Turned soldier is a twisted and macabre version of a military serviceman. Active Matter shattered his mind and corrupted his body, transforming this soldier into a human-like monstrosity. During the incident on Dalniy, many soldiers were scattered around the island, providing evacuation of civilians and equipment. Under the influence of Active Matter, they lost their minds and remained at their posts forever, mindlessly following the last order they received. After the transformation, Turned soldiers retain the size of an adult and have a different appearance depending on their equipment. Turned soldiers can use weapons and equipment like operatives, but their items are usually old and dirty. Active Matter marks in the form of black spikes pierce their clothing and bodies.

Appearance
The Turned soldier comes in many appearances, ranging from hazmat suits to old Soviet tactical gear. Most have gasmasks. Apart from what they wear, Turned are easily identified by the black spikes protruding out of them.
Tips & Tricks
Turned Soldiers use old weapons exclusive to the zone (Makarov, TOZ-B, PP-91 Kedr, etc) and as a result can often be outmached if you have better weapons. However, the damage output from their weapons is the exact same as yours, meaning that you can easily get killed if a Turned manages to get a well placed headshot.
Usually, Turned Soldiers will stick together in a group of 3, 4, or more, mindlessly patrolling areas. If one spots you, they will walk towards your last known position (If you manage to conceal or hide in time). If they spot you in the open, they will instantly fire upon you, with no audio cue of them spotting you (Your cue will be the bullets flying past you). Their accuracy gets better the closer they are, so pick them off from afar. Turned do not lean around corners or exhibit any caution, walking straight towards you so use that as an advantage. They will sometimes sprint to cover more ground.
Turned Soldiers may fire upon other Anomalies though often lose the fight, so use the infighting as an opportunity to escape
