Invisible
This creature is a mutated, distraught and almost completely dissolved in the entanglements of space and time. The Invisible can appear in our dimension and attack in close combat. It takes a second or so for him to appear. The Invisible tries not to appear where you are looking and often materializes behind your back. When rebuffed, the Invisible may disappear again, and after a while, it may attempt a surprise attack. Even when invisible, this creature remains vulnerable. If you kill an Invisible, you may find Active Matter at the site of its death.
Notes
Description
The invisible anomaly is the games version of a sneak attack enemy, with most of the time catching you off guard in your attacks. They're a major annoyance as they will catch you off guard from sniping an enemy, fighting off a swarm of anomalies, or looting a house. They run around with electric effects showing where they are while invisible, but the effect is delayed so it isn't a perfect indicator of where they are. They often wait for your back to be turned and strike when you aren't paying attention. Invisibles can be found on every map, including scrapyard. This means they are as common as distorted, but only spawn in 1-2 compared to distorted 3-5. invisibles are surprisingly tanky from melee damage, but a well placed 00 buckshot can take them down.
Invisibles are able to attack you almost anywhere, from buildings to fields to cars to rooftops. a common situation you will find is shooting on top of a rooftop and you are attacked by an invisible while your guard is down. Always keep your guard up when it seems like your safe and keep your ears open for quick running. Invisibles have faster running steps than players, so knowing the difference will allow you to know what kind of threat you will be up against.
Appearance
Invisibles appearance is that of a skeletal humanoid that can go invisible while they are not attacking the player, electric effects trailing them as they run. They originally took the stance of gibbons (personal favorite) until it was recently changed to appear more humanoid and standing upright. They have grey-ish skin and a skeletal frame.
Not much to say about an invisible enemy, they're invisible, what do you expect.
Tips & Tricks
The best tip i can give is to use a shotgun when you can and blast their center of mass to ensure you connect the shot. It may be inciting to use melee, but they are surprisingly tanky towards melee damage so try to avoid it when you can. However if your in a confined space with little to move around, you can chase the invisible in the room and hit him with your melee.
If your in a wide area where the invisible thrive, it is possible they stay still for a short time while invisible, so it is possible to unload into them at that time. Don't hesitate if you see the electric particles stop moving, killing the invisible is more useful than the few bullets you may lose.
